Cars, bikes, trucks and boats: buy, lock, fuel, keep and sell.

Step by step

   Find a car trader

   Car traders stand in the safe hubs. Boats too; helicopters at the hangar.

   Buy it

   Pay at the trader. It waits for you on the nearest road.

   Lock it

   A code lock ($1,500) fits any vehicle and opens for you and your group. F

   Fuel up

   Gas stations show on the map. A jerrycan costs $80.

   Keep it running

   Battery, spark plug, radiator: the car trader sells parts. A battery: $220.

   Drive

   W throttle, Shift for full, S brake, A and D steer, Space handbrake. W Shift S A D Space

   Sell it back

   Within 80 m of a car trader: engine off, nobody inside, yours.

   Claim time

   A bought vehicle is only yours for its first 30 min, or until you lock it.

   Garage and impound

   Park in your base's garage. Left unused 7 days outside a flag: impounded.

Good to know

• Fuel sells at every gas station's pump; the map's legend shows them.
• In PvP zones anyone can shoot your tyres and you.
