   Where they work

   Around police stations in PvE and on the main roads.

   They never fire first

   Leave them be and they leave you be.

   Lower your weapon

   Holding a gun near them? Lower it within 7 s.

   Hands up

   Then hands up within 8 s. Your hands drop what they hold.

   The search

   They cuff and search you, and take weapons and contraband.

   Free to go

   About 30 s after the cuffs you walk away, clean.

   Running or shooting

   Run and they chase you. Shoot at them and they shoot back.

   Wanted fades

   Levels drop after 4, 8 and 12 min without trouble. Death clears them.

• Some officers take a bribe. Not all of them.
• Contraband: drugs, black market guns and goods, explosives, police gear.
